THE ISLINGTON (WAITING AND LOADING RESTRICTION) (AMENDMENT NO.*) ORDER 200*

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that London Borough of Islington proposes to make the above mentioned Order(s) under Sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Local Government Act 1985.

2. The general effect of the Parking Place Orders would be:

(a) in Sotheby Road, south-east side outside No.90 Highbury Park, to revoke a doctors permit parking place;

(b) in Sotheby Road, south-east side outside No.90 Highbury Park, to introduce a new shared use (residents, business and Pay and Display 2 hours) parking place;

(c) in Sotheby Road, south-east side outside No.90 Highbury Park, to introduce a new solo motorcycle parking place.

3. The general effect of the Waiting and loading Restriction Order would be to would be to remove controlled-hours only waiting restrictions in certain lengths of Sotheby Road outside No.90 Highbury Park, to allow for the provision of the parking places referred to in sub-paragraphs 2(b) and (c) above.

4. A copy of the proposed Orders and other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Orders are available for inspection during normal office hours until the end of six weeks from the date on which the Orders are made or, as the case may be, the Council decides not to make the Orders at the following location:

Public Realm, The Municipal Offices, 222 Upper Street, London N1 1YA

5. Any person who wishes to object or to make other representations about the proposed Order should send a statement in writing, specifying the grounds on which they are made to Public Realm, The Municipal Offices, 222 Upper Street, London N1 1YA (quoting reference TMO/SR/2455), within the period of twenty one days from the date on which this Notice is published.
