The Queen has been pleased by Letters Patent under the Great Seal of the Realm dated 28 May 2008 to appoint:
Mrs Mary Selina Bayliss (commonly called The Honourable Mrs Bayliss), to be Lord-Lieutenant of and in the Royal County of Berkshire,
Sir David William Brewer, Knight, CMG, to be Lord-Lieutenant of and in Greater London and
David Byron Lewis, Esquire, to be Lord-Lieutenant of and in the county of West Glamorgan.
