1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Hackney proposes to make the above-mentioned Orders under sections 6, 35, 45, 46, 49, 84 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Local Government Act 1985, Section 15 of the Greater London Councils (General Powers) Act 1974(a), Section 19 of the Road Traffic Act 1988 and the Traffic Management Act 2004.

2. The general effect of the Orders would be convert all of Hackney’s relevant existing Traffic Orders to operate under the civil parking enforcement system as defined by the Traffic Management Act 2004.

3. Copies of the Orders, and of other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Orders, can be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive until the end of a period 6 weeks from the date on which the Orders are made or the Council decides not to make the Orders, in the reception area, London Borough of Hackney, 263 Mare Street, London, E8 3HT, or on line at http://www.hackney.gov.uk. 4. Any objections or other representations about any of the proposed Orders should be sent in writing to the Assistant Director (Public Realm) at the address specified in paragraph 3 above until the expiration of a period of 21 days from the date on which this Notice is published. All objections must specify the grounds on which they are made.
