The Q ueen has been pleased by Letters Patent under the Great Seal of the Realm dated 1 October 2007 to appoint the Reverend Nigel John Biggar, M.A., Ph.D., to the Office and Place of Regius Professor of Moral and Pastoral Theology in the University of Oxford, together with the place and dignity of a Canon of the Cathedral Church in Oxford, void by the resignation of the Reverend Canon Oliver Michael Timothy O’Donovan, M.A., D.Phil.
