1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the London Borough of Ealing Council, in connection with a proposed extension to the Southall (Area 1) controlled parking zone, propose to make the above-mentioned Orders under sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Local Government Act 1985.

2. The general effect of the Ealing (Southall Area 1) (Residents Parking Places) (Amendment No. *) Order 200* would be:

(a) to introduce parking places for the use by residents, their visitors and business users in lengths of Beaconsfield Road, Trinity Road and Woodlands Road;

(b) to provide that the parking places would operate between the hours of 10.00 am and 8.00 pm on Mondays to Saturdays inclusive and 2.00 pm and 8.00 pm on Sundays (the controlled hours);

(c) to provide that passenger vehicles, goods carrying vehicles, motorcycles and disabled persons vehicles may be left in a parking place without limitation on time during the controlled hours and that with the exception of motorcycles and disabled persons vehicles, a valid L zone permit or voucher must be displayed whilst parked therein.

3. The general effect of the Ealing (Parking Places) (Pay and Display) (Southall Area 1) (Amendment No. *) Order 200* would be to extend and change the hours of operation of the 2 hour “pay and display” only parking place in Woodlands Road so that it would operate during the controlled hours. All other conditions of use of the parking place would remain the same.

4. The general effect of the Ealing (Free Parking Places) (No. 2) (Amendment No. * ) Order 200* would be to introduce limited time free parking places where parking by vehicles during the controlled hours would be limited to 30 minutes with no return by the same vehicle to the same parking place for a period of one hour in lengths of Trinity Road and Woodlands Road.

5. The general effect of the Ealing (Free Parking Places) (Disabled Persons) (Amendment No. *) Order 200* would be to introduce free parking places for vehicles displaying the disabled driver’s blue badge parking permit without limit on time in lengths of Beaconsfield Road, Trinity Road and Woodlands Road.

6. The general effect of the Ealing (Free Loading Places) (Amendment No. *) Order 200* would be to introduce free loading places operating during the controlled hours in lengths of Trinity Road and Woodlands Road.

7. The general effect of the Ealing (Waiting and Loading Restriction) (Special Parking Area) (Amendment No. *) Order 200* would be to amend existing waiting restrictions or introduce new waiting restrictions that apply at any time or between the controlled hours in lengths of Beaconsfield Road, Trinity Road and Woodlands Road.

8. The general effect of the Ealing (Doctor Parking Places) (Special Parking Area) (No. ) (Amendment No.*) Order 200 * would be to introduce a parking place for vehicles displaying a doctor’s permit issued in a length of Woodlands Road which would operate between 8am and 8pm on Mondays to Fridays inclusive.

9. Doctor and Business Parking Permits would be available at a cost of £250 per annum and Residents Parking Permits at a cost of £45 per annum.

10. Business Visitors Vouchers would be available at a cost of £1 per hour and Residents Visitors Vouchers would be available at a cost of 40p for a period of up to 3 hours and £1 all day. Borough wide vouchers would be available to park in the zone at the rate of £1 per hour.

11. Copies of the Orders, and of other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Orders, can be inspected between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Monday to Fridays inclusive until the end of a period of 6 weeks from the date on which the Orders are made or the Council decide not to make the Orders at Mouchel Parkman, 6th Floor, 58 Uxbridge Road, Ealing, London W5 2ST.

13. Any objections or other representation about any of the proposed Orders should be sent in writing to Mouchel Parkman, 6th Floor, 58 Uxbridge Road, Ealing, London W5 2ST until 26th October 2007. All objections must specify the grounds on which they are made.
