HIGHWAYS ACT 1980 SECTION 116 AND SCHEDULE TWELVE

Notice is hereby given that application will be made by Flintshire County Council to the Magistrates’ Court sitting at the Magistrates’ Court Building, Chapel Street, Flint, on Thursday 22 February 2007, at 10.00 am, for an Order that a section of Public Footpath No 33, in the community of Hawarden, in the county of Flintshire, described in the Schedule hereto, and indicated by a continuous bold line between points A and B on the plan mentioned in the Schedule, shall be authorised to be stopped up, for the purposes of all traffic, on the ground that it is unnecessary. The plan mentioned above may be inspected, free of charge, at all reasonable hours at the offices of the County Legal and Democratic Services Officer and Solicitor to the Council, Flintshire County Council, Room 1393, County Hall, Mold, Flintshire, and during opening hours at Hawarden Library, The Old Rectory, Rectory Lane, Hawarden, Flintshire. Schedule That section of Public Footpath No 33, in the community of Hawarden, in the county of Flintshire, from its junction with Blackbrook Avenue at National Grid Ref 33142 36695 in a generally north-easterly direction for a total distance of approximately 145 metres to its junction with Gladstone Way at National Grid Ref 33152 36706, as indicated by a continuous bold line between points A and B on the plan mentioned above.
