THE HARROW (WAITING AND LOADING RESTRICTION) (AMENDMENT NO. 187) TRAFFIC ORDER 2007

ALBURY DRIVE—WAITING RESTRICTIONS

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the London Borough of Harrow has made the above mentioned order under Sections 6, 7, 124 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Local Government Act 1985 and all other enabling powers.
2. The general effect of The Harrow (Waiting and Loading Restriction) (Amendment No.187) Traffic Order 2007 will be to further amend The Harrow (Waiting and Loading Restriction) Order 1978, so that in the length of Albury Drive specified in the schedule to this notice, waiting by vehicles will be prohibited during the times specified, except for loading and unloading.
3. The prohibitions referred to in paragraph 2 above will not apply in respect of anything done at the direction of a police constable in uniform or with the permission of a parking attendant or other person authorised by the Council or in certain circumstances, e.g. the picking up or setting down of passengers, the carrying out of statutory powers or duties etc. The usual exemption relating to vehicles lawfully displaying a disabled person’s ‘Blue Badge’ will apply.
4. A copy of the order, which will come into operation on 29th January 2007, and a copy of the Harrow (Waiting and Loading Restriction) Order 1978 (and of the Orders which have previously amended that order), including documents giving more particulars of the order, are available for inspection between 9am and 5pm, Mondays to Fridays at the One Stop Shop at the Civic Centre, until 6 weeks from the date on which the order was made.
5. If any person wishes to question the validity of the order or of its provisions on the grounds that it or they are not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or that any requirement of the Act or of any instrument made under the Act has not been complied with, that person may, within six weeks of the date on which the order is made, apply for the purpose to the High Court.

Albury Drive
(a) the north side,
(i) between its junction with Pinner Hill Road and a point 13.50 metres
east of that junction; At any time.
(ii) between a point 13.50 metres east of its junction with Pinner Hill Road
and a point opposite the southern flank wall of No. 21 Albury Drive; 8am-6.30pm Mon-Fri.
