NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR CONSENT FOR THE PURPOSE OF SECTION 88

Notice is hereby given, in accordance with Schedule 10 to the Water Resources Act 1991, that an application has been made to the Environment Agency by Mr S Hazel for consent to discharge 12.9 cubic metres per day of trade effluent consisting of treated sewage effluent to a tributary of the Borle Brook at National Grid Ref SO 6865 9040 from The Down Inn, The Down, Ludlow Road, Bridgnorth. This application is to provide additional treatment using a clarifier and reed bed to trade effluent previously discharged after partial treatment in a septic tank. Any person who wishes to make representations about the application should do so in writing to the Team Leader Regulatory Water Quality, The Environment Agency, Hafren House, Welshpool Road, Shelton, Shrewsbury, not later than 23 February 2007 quoting Ref CP/US/92625. Please be aware that any representation may be made available to third parties under the Freedom of Information Act. A copy of the application may be inspected, free of charge, at the Environment Agency address above, between the hours of 9.00 am and 4.30 pm, Monday to Friday (not Bank Holidays).
