THE SECRETARY OF STATE hereby gives notice that he has made an Order under section 247 of the above Act entitled “The Stopping up of Highways (Metropolitan Borough of Dudley) (No.8) Order 2006 “authorising the stopping up of highways at Queensway, Halesowen Town Centre shown by zebra hatching on the deposited plan, the proposed improvements are shown by cross hatching on the deposited plan with the proposed new highways shown by stipple hatching. THE ORDER as made will authorise the Stopping Up only to enable the development described in the Schedule to this notice to be carried out in accordance with the planning permission granted by Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council on 24 April 2006 under reference P05/0878. Copies of this Order may be obtained, free of charge on application to the Government Office for the West Midlands at Northern Division, 5 St Philips Place, Colmore Row, Birmingham, B3 2PW (quoting reference: NPT/T/5106/81447) and may be inspected at all reasonable hours at Halesowen Library, Queensway Mall, The Cornbow, Halesowen. ANY person aggrieved by the Order and desiring to question the validity thereof, or of any provision contained therein, on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the above Act or that any requirement of that Act or of any regulation made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may within 6 weeks of the 12 January 2007 apply to the High Court for the suspension or quashing of the Order or of any provisions contained therein.
