THE SECRETARY OF STATE hereby gives notice that he proposes to make an Order under Section 247 of the above Act to authorise the stopping up of Parkhurst Road (part), Swiftden Drive, Nightingale Close and unnamed footpaths, Pennywell, Sunderland. IF THE ORDER IS MADE, the stopping up will be authorised only in order to enable the development described in the Schedule to this notice to be carried out in accordance with the planning permission granted to Central Sunderland Housing Company Ltd by the City of Sunderland on 25 August 2006 under reference 06/02115/LEG. COPIES OF THE DRAFT ORDER AND RELEVANT PLAN MAY BE INSPECTED at all reasonable hours during 28 days commencing on 11 January 2007 at the offices of Ms L Hackett, Housing Co-ordinator, Sunderland Housing Group, Unit 6, Portsmouth Road, Sunderland, SR4 9HS and may be obtained free of charge from the Secretary of State at the offices of the Department for Transport (quoting reference GO-NE/06/5038/35/29) at the address stated below. ANY PERSON MAY OBJECT to the making of the proposed Order within the period of 28 days commencing on 11 January 2007 by notice to the Secretary of State, quoting the above reference, addressed to Casework Team, Government Office for the North East, Citygate, Gallowgate, Newcastle upon Tyne NE1 4WH. In preparing an objection it should be borne in mind that the substance of it may be imparted to other persons who may be affected by it and that those persons may wish to communicate with the objector about it.
