Notice is hereby given that CeltPower Limited, (a collaboration between ScottishPower & Eurus Energy, Registration 02656561 and registered office at 3 Prenton Way, Prenton CH43 3ET); DONG Energy Power A/S (Registration CVR 25460715, and registered office at Kraftvaerksvej 53, Skaerbaek, DK-7000 Fredericia, Denmark); and Shell WindEnergy Ltd (registration 04153040 and registered office at Shell Centre, London SE1 7NA) have jointly applied for: (1) Consent from the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry under Section 36 Electricity Act 1989, together with a declaration as to rights of navigation under Section 36A, (as included in the Electricity Act 1989 by Section 99 Energy Act 2004) (2) Consent from the Secretary of State for the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs under Section 34 of the Coast Protection Act 1949, as amended by Section 36 of the Merchant Shipping Act 1988; (3) Licence from the Secretary of State for the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs under Section 5 of the Food and Environment Protection Act 1985 (4) Deemed planning permission under Section 90 Town and Country Planning Act 1990 for onshore works To construct and operate an offshore windfarm on an area of seabed approximately 5km to 15km west of Fleetwood, including installation and operation of the cables to the onshore connection to the electricity transmission system at Hill House or Stanah. The offshore windfarm, which would be known as Cirrus Shell Flat Array would have a maximum electrical capacity of 284 megawatts and is shown on a map entitled “Application Boundaries and Limits” which is also included as Figure 2 in the Non Technical Summary. Copies of the Environmental Statement may be obtained either on DVD for £10, or in hardcopy form for £400. The Offshore Renewables Consents Unit will co-ordinate the receipt of any objections and/or comments on behalf of each of the regulators concerned and will pass to the applicants a copy of any objections and/or comments received unless the person or persons making them expressly request that it should not be copied to the applicants.
