THE HACKNEY (WAITING AND LOADING RESTRICTIONS) (AMENDMENT NO. 1) ORDER 2007

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Hackney on 5th January 2007 made the above-mentioned Order under sections 6 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Local Government Act 1985. 2. The general effect of the Order will be to formalise existing formal orders The Hackney (Waiting and Loading Restriction) (Consolidation) Order 2006 so that: waiting restrictions apply in certain lengths of Staff Street will now be included as part of Vince Street. Vince Street, from a point 8 metres north of the northern kerb-line of Old Street, north westwards for a distance of 74.5 metres to Cranwood Street, (south western arm) south west side, from a point 8 metres north of its junction with Old Street, westwards for a distance of 40 metres. 3. Copies of the Order, which comes into force on 10th January 2007 and of other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Order, can be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive, until the expiration of a period of six weeks from the date on which the Order was made, in the reception area, Dorothy Hodgkin House, London Borough of Hackney, Reading Lane, London, E8 1HJ. Further information may be obtained by contacting Traffic and Transportation on 020 8356 8282. 4. If any person wishes to question the validity of the Order, or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or that any requirement of the Act or of any instrument under the Act has not been complied with, that person may, within six weeks of the date on which the Order was made, apply for the purpose to the High Court.
