PUBLIC GAS TRANSPORTER PIPE-LINE WORKS (ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT ASSESSMENT) REGULATIONS 1999

National Grid hereby gives notice in accordance with the provisions of regulation 10 (2) of the Public Gas Transporter Pipe-line Works (Environmental Impact Assessment) Regulations 1999 that it is applying to the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry for consent to construct a 32.3 kilometres long, 1220 millimetres diameter natural gas pipe-line between an existing Above Ground Installation at Easington (x:539850, y:419650) to an existing Above Ground Installation at Ganstead (x:516250, y:436500), in East Riding of Yorkshire. An environmental statement (ES) in support of the application has been prepared and a copy may be inspected by members of the public on business days until 30 January 2007, from Monday to Thursday 9.00 am to 5.00 pm and Friday 9.00 am to 4.30 pm, at East Riding Council Customer Services Centres at: Cross Street, Beverley, HU17 9BA; 2 New Road, Hedon, HUI2 8DF; and 243 Queen Street, Withernsea HU19 2HH. Copies of the ES can also be purchased from National Grid Community Relations on 0800 7311231 at acost of £75 each for a hard copy. Any person wishing to make representations in relation to the application should make them by the 30 January 2007 in writing to the Secretary of State at the Department of Trade and Industry, 1 Victoria Street, London SW1H 0ET, marked for the attention of Gary Mohammed and bearing the reference Easington to Ganstead Gas Pipeline.
