AMENDMENTS TO EXISTING CONSERVATION AREA

Notice is hereby given that the London Borough of Merton has designated the under-mentioned areas of the Borough as extensions to an existing Conservation Area, in accordance with Sections 69 and 70 of the Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Act 1990. 1. Wimbledon North Conservation Area (Sub Area 3 Arthur Road and Leopold Road): Plan DLU/2251 - Extended to include:

Arthur Road 24, 26, 28, 30, 42, 44, 46, 48, 50, 52, 56, 71, 73, 75, 77, 77a, 79, 79a, 95, 96, 98, 102, 104, 106, 108 (Flats 1 - 5), 108a, 123, 125, 127, 129, 131, 133 and 135.
Leopold Road 55b (The Coach House)
Lambourne Avenue 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12,14
Lake Road Ricard’s Lodge High School and school grounds including Caretakers House, Electricity Sub-Station and Playing Field.
Currie Hill Close 1, 2, 4, 5, 6 and 7
Camelot Close 1, 3, 5, 7, 11 and land between 8 and 11.

Conservation Areas are defined in the Act as areas of special architectural or historic interest, the character of which is desirable to preserve or enhance. The plans indicating the above areas in detail may be inspected, and further information obtained, at Merton Link, Civic Centre, London Road, Morden, Surrey, SM4 5DX at any time during normal office hours.
