COMPULSORY PURCHASE OF LAND IN 91 KENNINGTON PARK ROAD, SOUTHWARK, LONDON
Notice is hereby given that the London Borough of Southwark made the London Borough of Southwark (91 Kennington Park Road, Southwark, London) Compulsory Purchase Order 2006, under section 17 of the Housing Act 1985. It is about to submit this Order to the Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government for confirmation, and if confirmed, the Order will authorise the London Borough of Southwark to purchase compulsorily the land described below for the provision of housing accommodation; in particular to acquire the property the subject of this Order which is currently on the acquiring authority’s empty homes register and has remained unoccupied for a lengthy period of time and is in a state of disrepair in Order for it to be brought back into an acceptable state of repair for beneficial housing occupation. A copy of the Order and of the accompanying map may be seen at all reasonable hours at the London Borough of Southwark’s offices at the Town Hall, 30-32 Peckham Road, London. Any objection to the Order must be made in writing to the Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government, at The Government Office for London, Riverwalk House, 157-161 Millbank, London SW1P 4RR, before 19 January 2007, and should state the title of the Order, the grounds of objection and the objector’s address and interests in the land.
