BANNED U-TURNS AT THE JUNCTION OF HIGH ROAD, LEYTONSTONE, LONDON E11 AND BUSH ROAD, LONDON E11
THE WALTHAM FOREST (PRESCRIBED ROUTES) (NO. 8) TRAFFIC ORDER 2006

1. Notice is hereby given that the Council of the London Borough of Waltham Forest (hereinafter called “the Council”) on 19 December 2006, made the above-mentioned Order under section 6 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Local Government Act 1985. 2. The general effect of the Order will be to ban the U-turns by vehicles at three points at the junction of High Road, Leytonstone, London E11 and Bush Road, London E11. 3. A copy of the Order, which will come into operation on 22 December 2006, of the Council’s statement of reasons for making the Order and of a plan showing the location and effect of the Order can be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive until the end of 6 weeks from the date on which the Order was made, at: (a) The Information Desk, Town Hall, Forest Road, Walthamstow, London E17; (b) The Reception Desk, Municipal Offices, 16 The Ridgeway, Chingford, London E4; and (c) The Waltham Forest Direct Shop, 772-776 High Road, Leyton, London E10; and copies of the Order may be obtained from the Chief Engineer at the address given below. 4. Any person wishing to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within 6 weeks of the making of the Order, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
