ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
THE A64 TRUNK ROAD (TADCASTER BAR TO BILBROUGH) (PROHIBITION OF USE OF GAPS IN CENTRAL RESERVATION)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Secretary of State for the Transport has made an Order
under Sections 1(1) and 2(1) and (2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, on the
A64 Trunk Road in the District of Selby, which comes into force on Friday 22 December
2006.
The effect of the Order is as described in issue number 57739 of the London Gazette
dated 25 August 2005 (ref: 167).
A copy of the Order and the relevant plan have been deposited at Carillion WSP, 16
Halifax Way, Pocklington Industrial Estate, Pocklington, York, YO42 1NR; and at Tadcaster
Post Office, 19 Westgate, Tadcaster, LS24 9JA, where they may be inspected during
normal opening hours. The documents may also be seen at, or obtained by application
from the office of the Director, Traffic Operations (North), The Highways Agency,
PO Box 206, 8th Floor East City House, New Station Street, Leeds LS1 4UR, quoting
reference number HA 41/7/179.
Anyone wishing to question the validity of the Order or any of its provisions on
the grounds that it is not within the powers contained in the above Act, or any requirement
of the above Act or any instrument made under it has not been complied with, may apply
to the High Court before Friday 9 February 2007 to suspend or quash the Order or any
part of it.
