ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984

THE A3 GLA SIDE ROADS (LAMBETH) (BUS PRIORITY) TRAFFIC ORDER 2006
1. Transport for London hereby gives notice that on 8 December 2006 it made the above-named Orders, under section 6 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The Orders will come into force on 16 December 2006. 2. The general nature and effect of the Orders is to: (a) change the hours of operation of the north-eastbound bus lanes on A24 Clapham Common South Side, between Rookery Road and Clapham High Street, so that they will operate at all times; (b) impose a new south-eastbound bus lane on the north-west to south-east arm of The Pavement, between the west to east arm of The Pavement and Clapham Common South Side, which will operate at all times. 3. The roads affected by the Orders are A24 Clapham Common South Side, and The Pavement, in the London Borough of Lambeth. 4. A copy of the Orders, a map indicating the location and effect of the Orders and copies of any Order revoked, suspended or varied by the Orders can be inspected during normal office hours at the offices of: Transport for London, Traffic Orders Team, Road Network Development (SPST/RND), 84 Eccleston Square, London SW1H 0NR; and London Borough of Lambeth, Transport and Highways Group, 3rd Floor, Blue Star House, 234-244 Stockwell Road, London SW9 9SP. 5. Any person wishing to question the validity of the Orders or of any of their provisions on the grounds that they are not within the relevant powers conferred by the Act or that any requirement of the Act has not been complied with, that person may, within 6 weeks from the date on which the Orders are made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
