THE STOPPING-UP OF HIGHWAYS (LAND AT JUNCTION OF CASWELL DRIVE AND SUMMERLAND LANE, CASWELL, SWANSEA) ORDER 200—

Notice is hereby given that the Minister for Enterprise, Innovation and Networks, acting on behalf of the National Assembly for Wales, proposes to make an Order under section 247 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 to authorise the stopping-up of the area of highway described in Schedule 1 to this notice. If the Order is made, the stopping-up will be authorised only in order to enable the development described in Schedule 2 to this notice to be carried out in accordance with planning permission granted by Swansea City and County Council on 1 June 20051 under Ref 2005/1200. The Order will cease to have effect upon a cessation of the planning permission. During the 28 days from 8 December 2006, copies of the draft Order and the deposited plan may be inspected, free of charge, at the offices of the City and County of Swansea, Legal Services, County Hall, Oystermouth Road, Swansea SA1 3SN, during normal office hours, or may be obtained, free of charge, from the address below quoting the Welsh Assembly Government Ref CZ510-05-03-0035. Within the above-mentioned period of 28 days, any person may, by notice to the Welsh Assembly Government, Transport Wales - Orders Branch, Cathays Park, Cardiff CF10 3NQ (quoting Ref CZ510-05-03-0035), object to the making of the Order. In the preparation of an objection, it should be borne in mind that the substance of any objection or representation may be communicated to other people who may be affected by it. M D Burnell, Transport Planning and Administration Division Schedule 1 (All measurements are approximate) Description of the area of highway to be stopped-up under this Order at Caswell in the City and County of Swansea An irregularly shaped area of highway situated at the junction of Caswell Drive and Summerland Lane fronting a plot of land adjacent to 57 Caswell Drive, Caswell in the City and County of Swansea with a maximum length of 17 metres, a maximum width of 8 metres and a total area of 82 square metres and shown by zebra hatching on the deposited map. Schedule 2 Proposed Development The construction of a new detached dwelling on land adjacent to 57 Caswell Drive, Caswell, Swansea which will incorporate an area of footway.
