THE KENSINGTON AND CHELSEA (PARKING PLACES) (RESIDENTS’ PARKING) (AMENDMENT NO ) ORDER 200
QUEEN’S GATE MEWS AND RUSSELL GARDENS MEWS
1. Notice is hereby given that the Council of the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea (hereinafter referred to as “the Council”) propose to make the above-mentioned Order under sections 45, 46, 49, 51 and 124 of, and Part IV of Schedule 9 to, the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Local Government Act 1985, the Road Traffic Regulation (Parking) Act 1986 and the Road Traffic Act 1991. 2. The general effect of the Order would be in: Queen’s Gate Mews to convert 5 metres of single yellow line to Residents’ parking outside No 6; Russell Gardens Mews to convert 5 metres of Residents’ parking line to single yellow line outside No 20. 3. A copy of the proposed Order, and other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Order, can be inspected at the Town Hall, Hornton Street, London W8 7NX, during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive. 4. Persons desiring to object to any of these proposals, or make any other representations in respect of them, should send a statement in writing to that effect and, in the case of an objection, stating the grounds thereof, to the Council’s agents in this matter, the Project Centre, Saffron Court, 14 b St Cross Street, London EC1N 8XA, quoting Ref PCL/TMO/NHS/3222000122, by 28 December 2006. 5. Under the Local Government (Access to Information) Act 1985, any letter you write to the Council in response to this notice may be made available to the press and to the public, who would be entitled to take copies of it if they so wished.
