ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984, SECTION 14(1)(A) AND 15(2)
FOOTPATH NO 94 (THURSLEY)
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER 2006
On 29 December 2006, Surrey County Council will make the above-mentioned temporary
Order, the effect of which is to:
Prohibit all traffic on foot or by any other means from entering or proceeding in
that length of Footpath No 94 (Thursley) which extends from its junction with Boundless
Road (Grid Ref 90143:37030) in a south-westerly direction for approximately 440 metres.
The Order is necessary due to works being executed on or near the footpath, which
works the Council are satisfied will take longer than 18 months to complete, and will
be in operation for as long as is necessary to enable the works to be completed, and
while the relevant notices are displayed.
The alternative route for pedestrians from the eastern end of the closure will be:
Follow Boundless Road in a southerly direction for approximately 350 metres, then
turn right along Footpath No 95 (Thursley). Continue for approximately 630 metres,
then turn right at the junction with Footpath No 94 (Thursley). Follow the path to
the point of closure.
The alternative route for pedestrians from the western end of the closure will be
the reverse of the route described above.
The Surrey County Council Footpath No 94 (Thursley) Temporary Prohibition of Traffic
Order 2006 was made by the County Council under section 14(1)(a) and 15(2) of the
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
