THE SOUTHWARK (WAITING AND LOADING RESTRICTION) (AMENDMENT) ORDER 2007/*
INTRODUCTION OF AT ANY TIME WAITING RESTRICTIONS IN GOWLETT ROAD AT ITS JUNCTION WITH AMOTT ROAD
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Southwark propose to make the above-mentioned Order under sections 6 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. 2. The general nature and effect of the Order, would be to prohibit waiting by vehicles (otherwise than for the purpose of delivering or collecting goods or loading or unloading a vehicle subject to certain time limits and conditions) at any time in - AMOTT ROAD, the south-east side, between a point 10 metres south-west of the south-western kerb-line of Gowlett Road and a point 10 metres north-east of the north-eastern kerb-line of Gowlett Road and GOWLETT ROAD, between the south-eastern kerb-line of Amott Road and a point 10 metres south-east of that kerb-line. 3. A copy of the Order and of other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Order are available for inspection at One Stop Shop, Southwark Council, Walworth Old Town Hall, 151 Walworth Road, London SE17 1RY, during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive, until the last day of a period of 6 weeks beginning with the date on which the Order is made. 4. Further information and a copy of the proposed Order may be obtained from David Cargill, Southwark Environment and Leisure Department, Walworth Old Town Hall,151Walworth Road, London, SE17 1RY, telephone 0207 525 2005 within 21 days of the published date. 5. Any Person wishing to comment or object to the proposed order should do so in writing to reach the undersigned at the above address to arrive not later than the close of business on 2nd January 2007.
