WAITING AND LOADING RESTRICTIONS IN QUEENSTOWN ROAD SW 8

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Wandsworth proposes to make the following Order under section 6 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Local Government Act 1985 and the Road Traffic Act 1991:

The Wandsworth (Waiting and Loading Restriction) (Special Parking Areas) (Amendment No. -) Order 200

2. The general effect of the Order would be to amend the hours of operation of the waiting restrictions in the length of Queenstown Road between Queen’s Circus and Chelsea Bridge. The hours would be 7am to Midnight on Fridays and Midnight to 3am and 7am to 7pm on Saturdays. On Mondays to Thursdays the restrictions would continue to operate between 7am and 7pm only. Loading restrictions operating 7am to 10am and 4pm to 7pm on Monday to Saturday would also be introduced on the west side of the road to match those in place on the east side.

3. This proposal takes the place of that advertised on 14th September 2006 which has been withdrawn.

Copies of documents giving more detailed particulars of the proposed Order are available for inspection during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays in The Concourse, The Town Hall, Wandsworth High Street, London, SW18 2PU. The documents will remain available until the end of six weeks from the date on which the Order is made or, as the case may be, the Council decides not to make the Order.
