INCORPORATING THE CAPE INDUSTRIES PLC WORKS PENSION AND LIFE ASSURANCE SCHEME (“SCHEME”)

NOTICE UNDER SECTION 27 TRUSTEE ACT 1925

The Trustee hereby gives notice that the Scheme is being wound up. Any person not currently in receipt of a pension from the Scheme who believes that they have an entitlement to benefits from the Scheme and who has not received a letter from the Trustee dated 24 November 2006 should write to: Capita Hartshead, 257 Ecclesall Road, Sheffield S11 8NX, giving details of their claim to benefits under the Scheme and enclosing a copy of any documentation that supports their claim. This should include their date of birth and National Insurance number. Any claim must be registered within two months of the date of this publication and not later than 15 February 2007. After that date the Trustees will distribute all remaining assets of the Scheme having regard only to claims of which they have prior written notice and the Trustees shall not be liable to any person of whose claim or demand they have not then had notice.
