THE STOPPING UP OF HIGHWAYS (COUNTY OF CAMBRIDGESHIRE) (NO.3) ORDER 2006

The Secretary of State for Transport hereby gives notice that, on the application of Peterborough Hospital NHS Trust, he has made an order under Section 247 of the above Act entitled “The Stopping up of Highways (County of Cambridgeshire) (No.3) Order 2006” authorising the stopping up of a length of all purpose highway land at Edith Cavell Hospital, Bretton Gate, Bretton, Peterborough to enable the demolition of existing hospital buildings and the erection of a new acute hospital building to be carried out in accordance with the planning permission granted under Part III of the Act to Peterborough Hospital NHS Trust by Peterborough City Council on 3 March 2006 under reference 05/01269/FUL.
Copies of the Order may be obtained, free of charge, on application to the Government Office for the East of England (Planning Casework Team), Eastbrook, Shaftesbury Road, Cambridge CB2 8DF (quoting reference GT/R0525/35/01/05) and may be inspected at all reasonable hours at the offices of Peterborough City Council, Bridge House, Town Bridge, Peterborough PE1 1HB.
Any person aggrieved by the Order and desiring to question the validity thereof, or of any provision contained therein, on the ground that it is not within the powers of the above Act or that any requirement of that Act or of any regulation made there under has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may, within 6 weeks of 6 December 2006 the apply to the High Court for the suspension or quashing of the Order or of any provision contained therein.
