EXEMPTION TO THE BAN ON PARKING ON FOOTWAYS AND GRASS VERGES

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council are introducing further exemptions to the ban on parking on footways and verges. The streets to be exempted are listed in Schedules 1 and 2 to this Notice and the exempted areas will be indicated by traffic signs and/or by road markings. 2. In certain circumstances a uniformed police officer or traffic warden may give permission or issue directions which overrule this Order. 3. This Order is made under Section 15 of the Greater London Council (General Powers) Act 1974 and will come into operation on 8 January 2007.
