ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
THE A23 GLA ROAD (LONDON BOROUGH OF CROYDON) (BUS PRIORITY) TRAFFIC ORDER 2007
1. Transport for London hereby gives notice that it intends to make the above-named
Order under section 6 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
2. The general nature and effect of the Order will be to provide a bus lane on the
southbound A23 London Road between a point 5 metres north-west of the common boundary
of Nos 920 and 918 London Road, and a point 1.5 metres north-west of the common boundary
of Nos 794 and 792 London Road. The bus lane will operate from 7.00 am to 7.00 pm
every day.
3. The road which would be affected by the Order is the A23 London Road in Croydon.
4. A copy of the Order, a statement of Transport for London’s reasons for the proposals,
a map indicating the location and effect of the Order and copies of any Order revoked,
suspended or varied by the Order can be inspected, during normal office hours, at
the offices of:
Transport for London, Streets TO Team (SPST/RND), 84 Eccleston Square, London SW1V
1PX; and
London Borough of Croydon, Taberner House, Park Lane, Croydon CR9 3JS.
5. All objections and other representations to the proposed Order must be made in
writing and must specify the grounds on which they are made. Objections and representations
must be sent to Transport for London, Street Management, Windsor House, 42-50 Victoria
Street, London SW1H 0TL, quoting Ref TASS/AD/SF/TO, GLA/2007/006, to arrive before
22 December 2006.
Objections and other representations may be communicated to other persons who may
be affected.
