NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR CONSENT FOR THE PURPOSE OF SECTION 88
Notice is hereby given, in accordance with Schedule 10 to the Water Resources Act 1991, that an application has been made to the Environment agency by Honeywell Technology Solutions Inc, for consent S/WR 2596 to discharge 78.2 cubic metres per day of trade effluent comprising dewatering to land at National Grid Ref SU 7665 3572, from Defence Communications Service Agency, Oakhanger, Hampshire GU35 9JE. Proposed discharge This application is for the discharge of trade effluent comprising dewatering at the RAF Oakhanger Site, Hampshire GU35 9JE. During the construction of a new facility, any excess water (groundwater or rainwater) encountered during the construction of the foundations, will be pumped away from the excavations and into a dewatering pit where it will settle for a period of 24 hours before being discharged to land. Any person who wishes to make representations about the application should do so in writing to Robin Leivers, The Environment Agency, Swift House, Frimley Business Park, Camberley, Surrey GU16 7SQ, not later than 5 January 2007, quoting Ref S/WR 2596. Please be aware that any representation may be made available to third parties under the Freedom of Information Act or Environmental Information Regulations 2004. A copy of the application may be inspected, free of charge, at the Environment Agency address above, between the hours of 9.00 am and 4.30 pm Monday to Friday (not Bank Holidays).
