1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Westminster City Council proposes to make the above Orders under sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Local Government Act 1985. 2. The general effect of the Orders would be to: (a) introduce five loading bays, 10 metres each in length, for which the controlled hours would be 7am - 7pm, Monday - Saturday, and the maximum stay 30 minutes, on the following five side roads adjoining Harrow Road: (i) First Avenue (the east side), 12.5 metres north of the junction with Harrow Road; (ii) Portnall Road, outside the eastern flank wall of No. 540 Harrow Road; (iii) Ashmore Road, outside the western flank wall of No. 518 Harrow Road; (iv) Marylands Road, outside the south-eastern flank wall of No. 362 Harrow Road; (v) Cirencester Street, outside the north-western flank wall of No. 292 Harrow Road; (b) shorten the “Blue Badge” disabled persons’ parking place outside Nos. 2 - 4 Marylands Road to 10 metres; (c) extend the “Pay and Display” parking outside Nos. 2a - 6 Ashmore Road southward to create one additional bay, and permanently extend the maximum stay period from 2 hours to 4 hours; (d) create a 10 metre 4-hour “Shared Use” parking place on First Avenue outside the south-eastern flank wall of No. 582 Harrow Road; (e) convert the residents’ parking outside the south-eastern flank wall of No. 1 Alperton Street to 4-hour “Shared Use” parking. 3. The proposed Orders and other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Orders are available for inspection between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Mondays to Fridays inclusive at West One, 59 Buckingham Gate, London, SW1E 6AJ, until 6 weeks have elapsed from the date on which either the Orders are made or the Council decides not to make the Orders. 4. Any objections or other representations about the proposed Orders should be sent in writing to the Council’s agents, West One, 59 Buckingham Gate, London, SW1E 6AJ, quoting reference 5251/AG, by 15th December 2006.
