NOTICE OF APPLICATION TO STOP UP HIGHWAYS

AT DOE LEA, GLAPWELL, DERBYSHIRE

NOTICE is given that an application will be made by Derbyshire County Council, being the Highway Authority for the highways described below, to the North East Derbyshire and Dales Magistrates’ Court sitting at Tapton Lane, Chesterfield, Derbyshire on 21 December 2006 at 2pm for an Order under Section 116 of the Highways Act 1980 that the highways known as Jackson Road, Garden Row, Cross Street and part of the highways at North Street, East Street and Centre Street at Doe Lea, Glapwell be stopped up. The area of land in question is as follows: 6266 square metres of redundant highway land comprising parts of North Street, East Street and Centre Street, and the full length of Cross Street, Jackson Road and Garden Row. The highways to be stopped up are shown hatched red on Drawing Number 5500L/DL/01/B. A copy of this Notice and the plan may be inspected free of charge at Bolsover Library, Church Street, Bolsover, Chesterfield, Derbyshire, S44 6HB during normal opening hours.
