NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR CONSENT FOR THE PURPOSE OF SECTION 88

Notice is hereby given, in accordance with Schedule 10 of the Water Resources Act 1991, that an application has been made to the Environment Agency by Guildford Car Wash for consent S/WR 1496, to discharge 3 cubic metres per day of trade effluent to a tributary of the River Wey, at National Grid Ref TQ 0081 5311, from Guildford Car Wash, Unit 1-2, Riverview Business Park, Clay Lane, Burpham GU4 7PX. Proposed discharge: This application is for the discharge of trade effluent from a car washing system at Guildford Car Wash into a tributary of the River Wey. Any person who wishes to make representations about the application should do so in writing to Joanne Leverick, The Environment Agency, Swift House, Frimley Business Park, Camberley, Surrey GU16 7SQ, not later than 22 December 2006, quoting Ref S/WR 1496. Please be aware that any representation may be made available to third parties under the Freedom of Information Act or Environmental Information Regulations 2004. A copy of the application may be inspected, free of charge, at the Environment Agency address above, between the hours of 9.00 am and 4.30 pm, on Monday to Friday (not Bank Holidays).
