NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR CONSENT FOR THE PURPOSE OF SECTION 88

Notice is hereby given, in accordance with Schedule 10 to the Water Resources Act 1991, that an application has been made to the Environment Agency by Severn Trent Water Limited for variation to consent No. S/09/56168/T to discharge 216 cubic metres per day of nitrate removal plant process water to the River Corve at National Grid Reference SO 5198 8521 from Diddlebury Borehole, The Moors, Diddlebury, near Craven Arms, Shropshire. This application is to increase the volume of the existing consent from 180 to 216 cubic metres per day. Any person who wishes to make representations about the application should do so in writing to Jon Philpin, The Environment Agency, Upper Severn Area, Hafren House, Welshpool Road, Shelton, Shrewsbury, Shropshire SY3 8BB not later than 29 December 2006 quoting reference WAV/US/92600.Please be aware that any representation may be made available to third parties unless specifically requested otherwise. A copy of the application may be inspected free of charge at the Environment Agency address above, between the hours of 9 am & 4.30 pm Monday to Friday (not Bank Holidays).
