THE WALTHAM FOREST (WEIGHT RESTRICTIONS) (NO ) TRAFFIC ORDER 200
BRIDGE WEIGHT RESTRICTIONS
1. Notice is hereby given, that the Council of the London Borough of Waltham Forest, hereinafter called the Council, propose to make the above-mentioned Order under sections 6 and 124 of, and Part IV of Schedule 9 to, the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended by the Local Government Act 1985 and the Road Traffic Act 1991. 2. The general effect of the Order would be: (a) to impose a weight restriction of 7.5 tonnes on the rail bridge in Queen’s Road, London E17; (b) to impose a weight restriction of 3 tonnes on the rail bridge in Pretoria Road, London E17; (c) to impose a weight restriction of 3 tonnes on the rail bridge in Ritchings Avenue, London E17; (d) to change the weight restriction from 20 tonnes to 18 tonnes on the rail bridge in High Street, London E17; (e) to change the weight restriction from 4 tonnes to 3 tonnes on the rail bridge in Suffolk Park Road, London E17. 3. A copy of the proposed Order, of the Orders of 1990, 1993 and 2004 which are being revoked by this Order (and the Orders which have previously amended those Orders, where applicable), of the Council’s statement of reasons for proposing to make the Order and of plans showing the locations and effects of the Order can be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive, until the end of 6 weeks from the date on which the Order is made, or as the case may be, the Council decides not to make the Order, at: (a) The Information Desk, Town Hall, Forest Road, Walthamstow, London E17; (b) The Reception Desk, Municipal Offices, 16 The Ridgeway, Chingford, London E4; and (c) The Waltham Forest Direct Shop, 772-776 High Road, Leyton, London E10. 4. Any person desiring to object to the proposed Order or make other representation should send a statement in writing of either their objection and the grounds thereof or of their representation to the Council’s Agents, TMO Services, 4 Snell Gardens, Herne Bay, Kent CT6 7SU, quoting Ref ET/GV/TMO/WF160, to be received by 7 December 2006.
