THE BEXLEY (WAITING AND LOADING RESTRICTION) (AMENDMENT NO ) TRAFFIC ORDER 200X

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Bexley propose to make the above mentioned Order under sections 6, and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by Section 8 of and Part 1 of Schedule 5 to the Local Government Act 1985. 2. The general effect of the Bexley (Waiting and Loading Restriction)(Amendment No ) Traffic Order 200X would be to further amend the Bexley (Waiting and Loading Restriction) Order 2002 so that:- (a) “At any time” waiting restrictions are introduced in parts of :- Barnehurst Avenue, Bexleyheath; Bedonwell Road, Bexleyheath; Beechwood Crescent, Bexleyheath; Bellegrove Road, Welling; Blackthorn Grove, Bexleyheath; Broadway, Bexleyheath; Cottage Field Close, Sidcup; Crofton Avenue, Bexley; Dorcis Avenue, Bexleyheath; Foots Cray Lane, Sidcup; Gravel Hill Close, Bexleyheath; Heath Way, Erith; Howard Avenue, Bexley; Hurst Road, Bexley; Newbery Road, Erith; Newlyn Road, Welling; Pearsewood Road, Erith; Pickford Lane, Bexleyheath; Queenswood Road, Sidcup; The Nursery, Erith; (b) Monday to Friday 7.00 am and 9.00 am and 4.00 pm and 6.00 pm waiting restrictions are introduced in the Broadway, Bexleyheath; (c) Monday to Friday between 1.00 pm and 3.00 pm waiting restrictions are introduced in Baltimore Place, Welling; and (d) Monday to Friday 9.00 am and 11 am waiting restrictions are introduced in Avenue Road, Erith. 3. A copy of the proposed Order, Bexley (Waiting and Loading Restriction) Traffic Order 2002 (and the Orders which have amended that Order); the Council’s statement of reasons for proposing to make the Order, and of a map which indicates the length of roads to which the Order relates can be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive, at The Contact Centre, Civic Offices, Bexleyheath, Kent DA6 7LB. 4. Further information may be obtained by telephoning Kofi Anyang on 0208 308 7907. 5. Any person desiring to object to the proposed Order should send a statement in writing of their objections and the grounds thereof, to Traffic and Parking Design Group, Wyncham House, 2nd Floor, 207 Longlands Road, Sidcup DA15 7JH within the above 21 days. 6. Persons objecting to the proposed Order should be aware that in view of the Local Government (Access to Information) Act 1985 this Council would be legally obliged to make any comment received in response to this Notice, open to public inspection.
