EXTENSION OF WAITING RESTRICTIONS IN STEWART’S ROAD AND THESSALY ROAD SW 8

THE WANDSWORTH (WAITING AND LOADING RESTRICTION) (SPECIAL PARKING AREAS) (AMENDMENT NO. 228) ORDER 2006

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Wandsworth on 14th November 2006 made the above Order under section 6 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Local Government Act 1985 and the Road Traffic Act 1991. 2. The general effect of the Order will be to — (i) extend the waiting restrictions operating at any time in Stewart’s Road at the junction with Ascalon Street southwards on the west side of the road to the northern abutment of the railway bridge and on the east side to the existing bus stop which will be a clearway at any time; and (ii) extend the waiting restrictions operating at any time on the south-east side of Thessaly Road at the junction with Condell Road south-eastwards from the bus stop clearway (which will operate at any time) to the junction with the service road fronting No. 28 Thessaly Road. 3 A copy of the Order, which will come into operation on 20th November 2006, and of documents giving more detailed particulars of the Order can be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive until the end of a period of six weeks from the date on which the Order is made in The Concourse, The Town Hall, Wandsworth High Street, London, SW18 2PU. 4. A copy of the Order may be obtained from Engineering and Design Services, Department of Technical Services at the address given below - telephone (020) 8871 8067. 5. Any person desiring to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or that any of the relevant requirements of that Act or of any relevant regulations made under that Act have not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within six weeks from the date on which the Order was made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
