REVISED PARKING RESTRICTIONS - FIFE ROAD, KINGSTON
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames propose to make the following Orders under sections 6, 45, 46, 49, and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended: - The Kingston upon Thames (Waiting and Loading Restriction) (Special Parking Area) (Amendment No. /200 ) Traffic Order 200 ; and The Kingston upon Thames (Parking Places) (Kingston) (Amendment No. ) Traffic Order 200 . 2. The general effect of the Orders would be to: - (a) introduce two additional 1-hour “pay and display” parking bays on the north side of Fife Road (outside No. 19) at which the rate of charge would be £2.00 per hour. The bays would operate between 8.30 a.m. and 6.30 p.m. on Mondays to Saturdays and between 11.00 a.m. and 5.00 p.m. on Sundays; (b) revise the existing waiting AND loading restrictions in the following lengths of Fife Road, so that they would apply “at any time”: - the north side, outside Nos. 35 to 41 and around the junction of the entrance to Ceres Court; and the south side, around the junction of the access road between Nos. 30 to 36 and 38 to 40); (c) extend the existing loading restrictions (7.00 a.m. to midnight) on the north side of Fife Road, so that they would apply outside Nos. 15 and 17. 3. The Orders, and other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Orders, including plans showing the location and effect of the proposals, are available for inspection until 6 weeks have elapsed from the date on which either the Orders are made or the Council decides not to make the Orders at: the 2nd Floor Reception Area, Guildhall 2, Kingston upon Thames KT1 1EU between 9.30am and 4.30pm on Mondays to Fridays inclusive; and Kingston Library, Fairfield Road, Kingston during normal opening hours. 4. Any objections or other representations about the proposals should be sent in writing to the Director of Environmental Services (Highways and Transportation), Guildhall 2, Kingston upon Thames, Surrey KT1 1EU by 8th December 2006.
