ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14(1)

THE ISLINGTON (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) (PETHERTON ROAD WATER VALVE WORKS) ORDER 200*

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of The London Borough of Islington, because of Water Works, intends to make an Order to enable works to be carried out on the highway. 2. The general effect of the Order would be to prohibit vehicular traffic in the southbound lane of Petherton Road between its junction with Leconfield Road and a point 20 metres north of that junction. 3. The alternative route for traffic will be indicated by appropriate traffic signs during the works and shall be for southbound traffic via Green Lanes, Newington Green, Newington Green Road and Grosvenor Avenue. 4. The Order shall come into force on 13 November 2006 and may be in force until 14 November 2006 or until the works are completed, whichever is the sooner. 5. Further information may be obtained from Andrew Conlan, Street Management, PO Box 3333, 222 Upper Street, Islington, London, N1 1YA, Tel: 020 7527 2857.
