THE BROMLEY (FREE PARKING PLACES) (TIME RESTRICTED) ORDER 1997 (AMENDMENT NO  ) ORDER 2006

(ADDINGTON ROAD, WEST WICKHAM; ANERLEY ROAD, PENGE; MAY’S HILL ROAD, BROMLEY)

Notice is hereby given that the Council of the London Borough of Bromley on 22 August 2006, made the above-mentioned Orders under sections 6 and 124 of, and Part IV of Schedule 9 to, the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) and the Road Traffic Act 1991 and of all other powers thereunto enabling, which will come into operation on 4 September 2006.
The effect of the Orders would be to:
(a) introduce Waiting Restrictions as specified in the Schedule to this notice;
(b) introduce additional time restricted free parking bays as specified in the Schedule to this notice.

A copy of the Orders may be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays at the Bromley Civic Centre, Stockwell Close, Bromley, Kent, until the expiration of a period of 6 weeks from the date of making the Orders.
Any person wishing to question the validity of the Orders, or of any of their provisions on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the relevant enabling Act, or that any requirement of any such enabling Act or of any relevant Regulations made thereunder has not been complied with, may within 6 weeks from the date on which the Orders are made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.

Waiting Restrictions

No Waiting At Any Time:

Addington Road, West Wickham, the south-east side, from the northern kerbline of Croydon Road north-eastwards to a point opposite the south-western kerbline of Courtfield Rise.

Croydon Road, West Wickham:

(a) the north side, from the south-eastern kerbline of Addington Road eastwards to the western kerbline of the service road (western arm) fronting Nos 1 and 29a;
(b) the south side, from the south-eastern kerbline of Addington Road eastwards to a point 4 metres of the party wall of Nos 2 & 4.

Kingswood Road, Shortlands:

(a) the north-west side, from a point 10 metres south-west of the south-western kerbline of May’s Hill Road north-eastwards to a point 10 metres north-east of the north-eastern kerbline of May’s Hill Road;
(b) the south-east side, from a point 13 metres south-west of the south-western kerbline of May’s Hill Road north-eastwards to a point 12 metres north-east of the north-eastern kerbline of May’s Hill Road.

May’s Hill Road, Bromley:

(a) the south-west side, from a point 6 metres south-east of the common boundary of No 28 and Orchard Court south-eastwards to a point 10 metres south-east of the south-eastern kerbline of Kingswood Road;
(b) the north-east side, from a point 10 metres north-west of the north-western kerbline of Kingswood Road south-eastwards to a point 12 metres south-east of the south-eastern kerbline of Kingswood Road.

No Waiting between 8.30 am and 6.30 pm on Mondays to Fridays inclusive:

Addington Road, West Wickham:

(a) the north-west side,

(i) from the north-eastern kerbline of Corkscrew Hill north-eastwards for a distance of 18 metres,
(ii) from a point 2 metres south-west of the common boundary of Nos 142 and 144 north-eastwards for a distance of 18 metres,
(iii) from the party wall of Nos 90 and 92 north-eastwards to the common boundary of Nos 80 and 82,
(iv) the service road fronting Nos 88 to 142, both sides;

(b) the south-east side,

(i) from the north-eastern kerbline of Layhams Road north-eastwards to a point 4 metres north-east of the party wall of Nos 127 and 129,
(ii) from a point 6 metres north-east of the common boundary of Nos 81 and 83 north-eastwards for a distance of 52 metres,
(iii) from a point opposite the south-western kerbline of Courtfield Rise north-eastwards to a point opposite the common boundary of Nos 80 and 82,
(iv) the service road fronting Nos 79 to 131, both sides.

Corkscrew Hill, West Wickham, the north-east side, from the north-western kerbline of Addington Road north-westwards for a distance of 14 metres.

Croydon Road, West Wickham:

(a) the north side,

(i) from the eastern kerbline of the service road (western arm) fronting Nos 1 to 29a eastwards to the party wall of Nos 3 and 5,
(ii) from the party wall of Nos 29 and 29a eastwards to the western kerbline of the service road (eastern arm) fronting Nos 1 to 29a,
(iii) the service road fronting Nos 1 to 29a, the south side, from a point 2 metres east of the party wall of Nos 29 and 29a eastwards to the northern kerbline of Croydon Road,
(iv) the service road fronting Nos 1 to 29a, the north side, from a point 5 metres east of the party wall of Nos 29 and 29a eastwards to the northern kerbline of Croydon Road;

(b) the south side, from the party wall of Nos 18 and 20 eastwards to the party wall of Nos 22 and 24.

Layhams Road, West Wickham, the north-east side, from the south-eastern kerbline of Addington Road south-eastwards for a distance of 13 metres.

South Walk, West Wickham, both sides, from the southern kerbline of Croydon Road southwards for a distance of 14 metres.

No Waiting between 8.30 am and 6.30 pm on Mondays to Saturdays inclusive:

Anerley Road, Penge, the south-west side, from the south-eastern kerbline of Anerley Vale south-eastwards for a distance of 14.5 metres.

No Waiting between 7.00 am and 9.00 am and 7.00 pm and 10.00 pm on Mondays to Saturdays inclusive:

Anerley Road, Penge, from a point 14.5 metres south-east of the south-eastern kerbline of Anerley Vale south-eastwards for a distance of 5 metres.

Time Restricted Free Parking between 7.00 am and 7.00 pm on Mondays to Saturdays inclusive—30 minutes, no return within 1 hour:

Anerley Road, Anerley, the north-east side, from a point 18 metres north-west of the north-western kerbline of Brunswick Place north-westwards for a distance of 15 metres. (3 parking places).
