THE HAVERING (OFF-STREET PARKING PLACES) (SPECIAL PARKING AREA) ORDER 1995 (AMENDMENT NO  ) ORDER 2006

1. Notice is given that the Council of the London Borough of Havering propose to make the Havering (Off-Street Parking Places) (Special Parking Area) Order 1995 (Amendment No  ) Order 2006, under sections 35 and 124 of, and Part IV of Schedule 9 to, the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. 2. The general effect of the Order would be to convert Slaney Road Car Park from a pay and display car park open every day to a pay and display car park open on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays only. 3. A copy of the proposed Order, of the Havering (Off-Street Parking Places) (Special Parking Area) Order 1995 (Amendment No  ) Order 2006 and of the Council’s statement of reasons, can be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive, until 11 August 2006, at the reception of the Town Hall, Main Road, Romford RM1 3BD. 4. Persons wishing to object to the proposed Order should send a statement in writing of their objection and the grounds for it to C J Dooley, Assistant Chief Executive, Town Hall, Main Road, Romford RM1 3BD (Ref JW), to be received not later than 11 August 2006.
