THE LONDON BOROUGH OF RICHMOND UPON THAMES (WAITING AND LOADING RESTRICTION) (SPECIAL PARKING AREA) (AMENDMENT NO 13) ORDER 2006
LOWER GROVE ROAD, TWICKENHAM
(REFERENCE 48/06)

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames on 17 July 2006, made the above Order under sections 6 and 124 of, and Part IV of Schedule 9 to, the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Local Government Act 1985 and the Road Traffic Act 1991.
2. The general effect of the Order is to introduce new waiting restrictions (“no waiting at any time”) and extend the existing similar restrictions on both sides of Lower Grove Road along two sides of the island site at its junction with Queens Road so as to leave only a distance of approximately 45 metres outside Christ’s School free of such waiting restrictions.
3. Copies of the Order, which will come into operation on 24 July 2006, a plan showing the location and effect of the Order and the Council’s statement of reasons for making the Order can be inspected for a period of 6 weeks from the date of this notice, quoting Ref 48/06, at:

(i) Richmond Reference Library, Old Town Hall, Whittaker Avenue, Richmond TW9 1TP, during opening hours; and
(ii) the Civic Centre (Second Floor), 44 York Street, Twickenham, between 9.15 am and 5.00 pm on Mondays to Fridays, except for Bank and other public holidays.

4. Copies of the Order may be purchased from the Environment Directorate, Civic Centre, 44 York Street, Twickenham TW1 3BZ.
5. Persons wishing to question the validity of the Order or any of its provisions on the grounds that it or they are not within the powers conferred by the 1984 Act, or that any requirement of the Act or any instrument made under the Act has not been complied with that person may, within 6 weeks from the date on which the Order was made, apply for the purpose to the High Court.
