NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR A LICENCE TO ABSTRACT WATER

Take notice that Zip Textile Services Ltd., 11 Bromley Street, Digbeth, Birmingham B9 4AN, is applying to the Environment Agency for a licence to abstract water from the Sherwood Sandstones, at National Grid Ref SP 112 843, at Plot D, Redfern Park Way, Tyseley, Birmingham B11 2DM. The proposal is to abstract water at the following rates: 9.5 cubic metres per hour, 225 cubic metres per day, 82,350 cubic metres per year, between 1 January and 31 December each year. The water will be used for industrial purposes and laundry process. A copy of the application and any map, plans and other documents submitted with it may be inspected, free of charge, at all reasonable hours at Zip Textile Services Ltd., Plot D, Redfern Park Way, Tyseley, Birmingham B11 2DM (Site Office), between 24 July 2006 and 1 September 2006. Any person who wishes to make representations about the application should do so in writing to the Environment Agency, Sentinel House, 9 Wellington Crescent, Fradley Park, Lichfield, Staffordshire WS13 8RR, before the end of the said period, quoting the name of the applicant.
