The Secretary of State hereby gives notice that he has made an Order under section 247 of the above Act entitled “The Stopping-up of Highways (County of Worcestershire) (No 1) Order 2006”, authorising the stopping-up of highway at Saltway, Droitwich Spa, Worcestershire.
The Order as made, will authorise the stopping-up only to enable the development described in the Schedule to this notice to be carried out in accordance with planning permission granted by Wychavon District Council on 20 January 2006, under Ref W/05/01553/PN.
Copies of this Order may be obtained, free of charge, on application to the Government Office for the West Midlands at the offices of the Director, Northern Division, 5 St Philip’s Place, Colmore Row, Birmingham B3 2PW (quoting Ref GOWM/NPT/T5058/80569), and may be inspected at all reasonable hours at the offices of Droitwich Spa Library, Victoria Square, Droitwich Spa WR9 8DQ.
Any person aggrieved by the Order and desiring to question the validity thereof, or of any provision contained therein, on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the above Act or that any requirement of that Act or of any regulation made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may within 6 weeks of 21 July 2006, apply to the High Court for the suspension or quashing of the Order or of any provisions contained therein.
