The Secretary of State hereby gives notice that he has made an Order under section 247 of the above Act entitled “The Stopping-up of Highway (County of Northumberland) (No 3) Order 2006”, authorising the stopping-up of a length of Dispensary Street, Alnwick, Northumberland, to enable the development described in the Schedule to this notice to be carried out in accordance with planning permission granted, to Alnwick District Council, by Alnwick District Council, on 27 September 2005, under Ref A/2005/0345. Copies of the Order may be obtained, free of charge, on application to the Secretary of State, at the offices of the Director, Environment Group, Government Office for the North East, Citygate, Gallowgate, Newcastle upon Tyne NE1 4WH, (quoting Ref GO-NE/06/5068/35/02) and may be inspected at all reasonable hours at Alnwick Library, Green Batt, Alnwick, Northumberland NE66 1TU. Any person aggrieved by the Order and desiring to question the validity thereof, or of any provision contained therein, on the ground that it is not within the powers of the above Act or that any requirement of that Act or of any regulation made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may, within 6 weeks of 20 July 2006, apply to the High Court for the suspension or quashing of the Order or of any provision contained therein.
