The Secretary of State for Transport hereby gives notice that he proposes to make an Order under section 247 of the above Act, which will authorise the stopping-up of a length of highway measuring a maximum length of 40 metres between Bathurst Terrace and Scarcliffe Terrace, Whaley Thorns, Bolsover, Derbyshire. If the Order is made, the stopping-up will be authorised only in order to enable the development described in the Schedule to this notice to be carried out in accordance with the planning permissions granted to Meden Valley Making Places Ltd and Kevin Twigger by the Bolsover District Council on 17 May 2005 and 28 April 2006 under Refs 05/00186/OUTMAJ and 06/00045/REMMAJ respectively. Copies of the draft Order and relevant plan may be inspected at all reasonable hours during the 28 days commencing 20 July 2006 at the Bolsover District Council, Sherwood Lodge, Bolsover, Derbyshire and may be obtained, free of charge, from the Government Office for the East Midlands (quoting Ref EMCM 505035/1/298) at the address below. Any person may object to the making of the proposed Order within the period of 28 days commencing 20 July 2006 by notice to the Secretary of State quoting the above reference, at the Government Office for the East Midlands, Transport, The Belgrave Centre, Stanley Place, Talbot Street, Nottingham NG1 5GG. In preparing an objection it should be borne in mind that the substance of it may be imparted to other persons who may be affected by it and that those persons may wish to communicate with the objector about it.
