THE WANDSWORTH (WAITING AND LOADING RESTRICTION) (SPECIAL PARKING AREAS) (AMENDMENT NO 210) ORDER 2006
INTRODUCTION OF WAITING RESTRICTIONS IN GARRATT LANE, LONDON SW18 AND HIGHCLIFFE DRIVE, LONDON SW15

1. Notice is hereby given that the Council of the London Borough of Wandsworth on 18 July 2006 made the above Order under section 6 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Local Government Act 1985 and the Road Traffic Act 1991. 2. The general effect of the Order will be to: (i) introduce waiting restrictions operating between 9.30 am and 5.00 pm on Mondays to Fridays on the south side of the bend in Highcliffe Drive between the entrances to Charcot House and Denmead House; and (ii) amend the waiting restrictions on both sides of Garratt Lane between the entrance to the Sainsbury store and the junction with Mapleton Road to operate at any time. 3. Copies of the Order, which will come into operation on 24 July 2006, and of documents giving more detailed particulars of the Order can be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays in The Concourse, The Town Hall, Wandsworth High Street, London SW18 2PU. The documents will remain available until the end of 6 weeks from the date on which the Order is made or, as the case may be, the Council decides not to make the Order. 4. Copies of the Order may be obtained from Engineering Services, Department of Technical Services at the address given below, telephone (020) 8871 8067. 5. Any person desiring to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or that any of the relevant requirements of that Act or of any relevant regulations made under that Act have not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within 6 weeks from the date on which the Order was made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
