THE CITY OF WESTMINSTER (FREE PARKING PLACE) (DIPLOMATIC MISSIONS) (REVOCATION NO 1) ORDER 2006

THAYER STREET

1. Notice is hereby given that Westminster City Council on 19 July 2006 made the above Orders under sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Local Government Act 1985. 2. The general effect of the Orders will be to replace two redundant diplomatic parking places outside Nos 19 and 20 Thayer Street with residents’ parking. 3. The Orders, which will come into force on 24 July 2006, and other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Orders are available for inspection between 9.00 am and 5.00 pm on Mondays to Fridays inclusive at West One, 59 Buckingham Gate, London SW1E 6AJ, until 1 September 2006. 4. Any person desiring to question the validity of the Orders or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made thereunder have not been complied with in relation to the Orders may make application for the purpose to the High Court by 1 September 2006.
