NOTICE OF ADOPTION OF PROPOSALS FOR THE REPLACEMENT OF A LOCAL PLAN
SWINDON BOROUGH LOCAL PLAN 2011

On 19 July 2006 Swindon Borough Council adopted these proposals. The adopted plan will form part of the development plan for the area of Swindon borough. The development plan forms the basis for decisions on land use planning affecting Swindon borough. Copies of the adopted plan are available for inspection at Swindon Borough Council Customer Services, Premier House, Station Road, Swindon or Wat Tyler House, Beckhampton Street, Swindon, free of charge, (Monday to Friday 9.00 am to 4.30 pm). The document may also be viewed at all libraries within Swindon borough, during normal opening hours of those libraries, and can also be viewed on the Council’s website at http://www.swindon.gov.uk/localplan.htm The plan came into operation on its adoption. A person aggrieved by the proposals who desires to question their validity on the grounds that they are not within the powers conferred by Part II of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990, or that any requirements of that Act, or any regulation made under it, has not been complied with in relation to the adoption of the proposals, may, within 6 weeks from 19 July 2006, make an application to the High Court under section 287 of the 1990 Act.
