THE SUTTON (WAITING AND LOADING RESTRICTION) (NO 11) AMENDMENT NO 18) ORDER 2006
WAITING RESTRICTIONS AT VARIOUS JUNCTIONS IN CHEAM AND WORCESTER PARK

1. Notice is hereby given that the Council of the London Borough of Sutton made the above mentioned Order on 17 July 2006 under sections 6 and 124 of, and Part IV of Schedule 9 to, the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Local Government Act 1985 and the Road Traffic Act 1991. 2. The principal objective of the Order is to improve the visibility and safety for vehicles/pedestrians using the junctions. 3. The general effect of the Order will be to introduce waiting restrictions “no waiting at any time” at the following junctions: (a) Boscombe Road at its junction with Bisley Close, Worcester Park; (b) Buckland Way at its junction with Delcombe Avenue and Merrilands Road, Worcester Park; (c) Church Hill Road at its junction with Priory Crescent, North Cheam; (d) Dorchester Road at its junction with Buckland Way, Worcester Park; (e) Langley Avenue at its junction with Andrews Close, Worcester Park; (f) Malden Road at its junctions with Newbolt Avenue, Priory Road and Wickham Avenue, Cheam; (g) St Clair Drive at its junction with Latimer Close, Worcester Park; (h) Sutton Common Road at its junctions with Selwood Road and Tonfield Road, Sutton; (i) Windsor Avenue at its junctions with Brocks Drive and St Margaret’s Avenue, North Cheam; and (j) Woodstock Rise at its junction with Hill Top, Sutton. 4. A copy of the Order, which will come into operation on 24 July 2006, the Council’s Statement of Reasons for making the Order and plans showing the locations and effects of the Order may be examined at:

Civic Offices, St Nicholas Way, Sutton Environment and Leisure, 24 Denmark Road, Carshalton,
Between 9.00 am and 5.00 pm Monday to Friday. Between 9.00 am and 1.00 pm, Monday, Wednesday and Friday; and 1.00 pm to 4.00 pm Tuesday and Thursday.
5. If any person wishes to question the validity of this Order or any of its provisions on the grounds that it or they are not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or that any requirement of that Act or of any instrument made under that Act has not been complied with, that person may, within 6 weeks from the date on which the Order is made, apply for the purpose to the High Court.
