NOTICE OF ADOPTION OF A LOCAL PLAN
ROTHER DISTRICT LOCAL PLAN

On 10 July 2006, Rother District Council adopted this Plan with modifications. The adopted plan will form the development plan for the area of Rother District. The development plan forms the basis for decisions on land use planning affecting that area. Copies of the adopted Plan are available for inspection at Bexhill Community Help Point, Amherst Road, Bexhill-on-Sea; Battle Community Help Point, 6 Market Square, Battle, and Rye Community Help Point, 25 Cinque Ports Street, Rye during normal working hours. The document can also be viewed on the Council’s website at www.rother.gov.uk. The Plan came into operation on its adoption. A person aggrieved by the proposals who desires to question their validity on the grounds that they are not within the powers conferred by Part II of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 or that any requirement of that Act or any regulation made under it has not been complied with in relation to the adoption of the proposals, may, within 6 weeks from the 14 July 2006, make an application to the High Court under section 287 of the 1990 Act.
