THE HARINGEY (FREE PARKING PLACES) (DISABLED PERSONS) (SPECIAL PARKING AREA)
AMENDMENT NO 6 ORDER 23 2006

1. Notice is hereby given that the Council of the London Borough of Haringey, hereinafter called the Council, on 24 October 2005, made the above-mentioned Order under sections 6 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Local Government Act 1985 and the Road Traffic Act 1991.
The general effect of the Disabled Persons Order will be to further amend the Haringey (Free Parking Places) (Disabled Persons) (Special Parking Area) (No 1) Order 2004 so that non-Blue Badge holders will be prohibited from parking in designated disabled bays located on:

18 Albany Road, London N4, 111 Albert Road, London N22, 24 Beatrice Road, London N4, 15 Birchington Road, London N8, 2 Buller Road, London N17, 34 Cobham Road, London N22, 16 Devon Close, London N17 next to existing Disabled Bay, 30 Dickenson Road, London N8, 9 Elsden Road, London N17, 7 Eastfield Road, London N8, 77 Gloucester Road, London N17, 1 Greyhound Road, London N17, 86 Hampden Road, London N8, 31 Hewitt Road, London N8, 33 Marriott Road, London N10, 31 Milton Park, London N6, 54 Middle Lane, London N8, 199 Morley Avenue, London N22, 18 Muswell Hill Place, London N10 opposite 43 on Flank wall, 58 Palace Gates Road, London N22, 177 Park Lane, London N17, 11 Rectory Gardens, London N8, 16 Roseberry Gardens, London N4, 20 Rosebery Gardens, London N8, 29 Rostrevor Avenue, London N15, 30 Shepherds Hill, London N6, Outside entrance to 1 to 2 Vallette Court, St James Lane, London N10, 36 Shepherds Hill, London N6, 80 St Loy’s, London N17, 38 Umfreville Road, London N4, 24 Woodside Avenue, London N6.

Details of exemptions for certain vehicles and persons are contained in the Original Order of 2004.
2. A copy of the Order, which will come into operation on 8 June 2006, and a copy of the above-mentioned Order of 2004 (and Orders which have previously amended that Order, where applicable) and a copy of the Council’s statement of reasons for making the Order and a plan showing the locations and effects of the Order may be inspected during a period of 6 weeks from the date on which the Order was made, during normal office working hours at:

3. Any person desiring to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within 6 weeks of the making of the Order, make application for the purpose in the High Court.
